BAUER S21 VAPOR 3X SENIOR GOALIE PADS

New for 2021 are the Bauer Vapor 3X Senior Goalie Leg Pads. The 3X's earn their spot as the performance model in Bauer’s new S21 lineup by bringing new advancements in stability , movement, and fit over its predecessor. 

Beginning with the front of the pads, the 3X’s are outfitted with Bauer’s Dynamic Flex Core. This above and below the knee flex profile gives 3X’s a soft explosive feel in the crease. The 3X’s feature a softer thigh rise segment with an addition of Curv Composite for great protection and durability with this softer profile. Working together with this profile is the new 110 Free-Flex Boot. This boot design has a flatter profile for better connection to the skate and a softer flex to provide a deep explosive stance. For the inside edge of the 3X’s , the Calf and Knee Landing are wrapped in C.O.R Tech Plus External Material to provide fast movement along the ice with great durability. 

Moving onto the back of the pad, the Vapor 3X’s feature with the Stabiliflex Knee Block with Connekt Grip. This is a spinoff of Bauer’s recently developed Stabilislide Knee Block featured on the Ultrasonic model. The Stabiliflex design is 30% lighter and provides 25% more flexibility compared to Stabilislide from Supreme, and improved landing grip is found as well. Overall, this provides a goaltender with an improved butterfly seal and movement down low on the ice. A new Balance Plate Calf Pillow is used on the 3X’s to help align the goalkeeper's ankle with their knee to promote stability and seal down on the ice. An Aerolite Calf Wrap with Abrasion Resistant Material is found on the Vapor 3X’s for weight reduction and durability. Bauer’s Tune Fit 2.0 Strapping System is used on the 3X’s and is an improved version of the regular Tune Fit Strapping. The 2.0 System features a Y-shaped calf strap for an even better lock more suitable to the new Vapor flex structure.
