Shaft

Construction & Materials

The Trigger 5 Pro comes with a fused 2-peice shaft loaded with CCM's latest technolgies and high quality materials. The most notable change featured on the Ribcor Trigger 5 Pro is the new Asymmetric Tapered, Ergonomic Shaft Design.

This shaft design utilizes three different shaft zones which all have different properties unqiue to the function of the stick. Each shaft zone contributes to an effortless quick energy transfer through the shaft. The three shafts zones are:

• Upper Third (Upper Hand): Concave walls on both the back and front of the stick with rounded corners for a comfortable feel and improved control
  

• Middle Third (Lower Hand): Convex back wall with concave front wall for better control and dexterity when loading the shaft, along with rounded shaft corners

• Bottom Third (Asymmetric Taper Design): Convex back wall that adds torsional stiffness as well as a concave front wall which powers quick release, also features rounded shaft corners

The Trigger 5 Pro is equipped with Sigmatex Carbon Fibre which is CCM's most elite material with greater durability and lighter weight in comparison to other carbon fibres. The construction used with this material is Nanolite Carbon Layering, which is a process that uses thinner layers of carbon fibre in areas of the shaft to reduce weight all while creating a more compact and durable structure. The Trigger 5 Pro's construction is also completed with X-Flow Resin for further improved durability in areas of the shaft. Topped of with a Tacky Grip, you can be sure this lightweight stick won't get out of your grip.

Blade

The CCM Ribcor Trigger 5 Pro Hockey Stick comes outfitted with a Reinforced Agility Blade. This blade is composed of traditional foam materials and Sigmatex Carbon Fibre in key contact areas. The Agility Blade is CCM's light-weight blade designed to produce a powerful, accurate shot in no time flat. With the addition of Nanolite Carbon Layering, the blade of the stick has greater durability, so you won't have to worry about getting any unexpected chips and cracks. Topped off with a textured face for puck control, the Reinforced Agility Blade on the Trigger 5 Pro is sure to produce a quick, accurate, and powerful shot.
