Check length with skates on

Stand upright with the blade on the ice. Chin-to-nose is the normal starting zone; forwards often go shorter and defencemen often go longer.

02

Use body weight for starting flex

Start near half body weight in pounds. Young or lighter players often benefit from slightly less flex so they can load the shaft.

01 Overview

Overview

The Warrior Novium 2 Intermediate Hockey Stick (2024) is built around a powerful mid-kick release and a controlled, stable feel. Warrior's Bevel Taper stiffens the taper zone so the shaft loads higher for added leverage, velocity and shooting accuracy.

Minimus Carbon 25 provides lightweight spread-tow carbon strength, while L 155 construction balances bending strength, impact resistance and weight. A FuelCore blade is designed to maintain puck feel and durability, and the O.G. shaft shape combines flat sidewalls with rounded corners for consistent control.
